GLORY

Look at sun and the moon
The stars and all that shine,
They tell us the truth of their glory
“Give off freely and expect no gain”.

The sun that gives warmth and light
And nourish all, living things
Give all things in, abundance
And take nothing in return.

The moon with silky shine,
Sooth and put us all back
In solace with no, parallel,
And make us forget our pains.

The stars sparkling in the sky
Give us hope and patterns new!
Help us regain lost hope
And distract us from evil thoughts.

The secret of their glory-
If pondered a while in solitude
Shall reveal to us, in divine lore
That they accept nothing in return.

Men we think that we are wise
Even fools think themselves wise,
Alas! We all are wise, in our way
Yet we err, if we think only in our way.

The world may think, a man a fool
When he think in others terms
And accuse him, for being selfless,
And envy in private, his glory.

To be selfish is but, by nature
That put us all to the test,
And one who strives to be selfless
Shall shine in view of multitude.

Selfish way make, our views narrow
And the more we turn selfish
And the seed of crime is sworn
That makes us reap, evil results.

All these will put, us in misery-
If not today will catch up soon
For all those greedy ended up,
And faced sad odd, at their end.

So seek pleasure and give selflessly
And expect no return from them
For the reward is, within in us
The joy our heart can rejoice ever.

Remember when you were born
You had only empty hands
So shall you return to grave
Leaving all possessions behind.

The moment you came this world
You wear gasping and crying for what?
Not for the food you had till then,
But to quench the thirst of your soul.

Then is it not foolish to go?
From the world without seeking
What your infantile soul wept for
So let him return in peace.
