Glory
I walk to the spot
Where we have met
For the first time and
You opened the gate
Of your heart for me
To walk in and rest
And remain forever
There as my cozy nest
You nourish me with
Doses of selfless care
Have a love that with all
You don’t want to share
I won’t ever forget you
Though long you are gone
Have to pass days weeping
Under the scorching sun
