Glory Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

Glory

Sleeping tides,
Butterflies in the air
Brims of heaven
Lighten night perished in ashes

Desires of a heart,
Met the euphoria
And turned it into a home

Beats of hearts,
Standing on common grounds
Harmony is born

Loneliness surrendered
To a presence like a lullaby
Lullaby, a song sung to sleepers

Drifting moments,
Like seasons biting each other's heels
Joy relieve the pain
And sun, the rain

New chapters,
Of a moment hoped to last forever
Never changing like weathers
