Glowing Ball Of White - Poem by Dave Anonymus

Oh, Glowing Ball of White,
How you fill the
Night with light.

Shielding us from the
Plain cold darkness that lurks
Upon us. That penetrates
Our senses
And scares us.

Like a knight on a quest.

On a mission to always fulfill
The quest of reflecting
The goldon brown
Essence of Life
Which brings us
Day.

Oh, how we all
Wanna just stand
Up and howl at you
O Glowing Ball of White.

We’re not quite sure what
It is you are,
But we tend to call you
The moon.
I like the name
Substania Abalienato
Venustas
Which means
“Essence of Beauty”
In Latin.

So, goodnight and
Farewell my
Substania Abalienato
Venustas.

‘Till it shall become night again.
