Go To The Ant Poem by Leland Hale

Go To The Ant

Ignore mother
Her voice squeaks with anger
“Look at these ants”
I looked
They carried a blackberry
“They’re not lazy like you”
Ignore that
Down a tiny cliff they go
Ignore her
Keep staring at clouds
