It was great day
The Berlin wall was demolished in different way
Both parts of Germany united
The jubilation was all over sighted

It is difficult to gain freedom
It is ever more difficult to maintain with wisdom
Freedom and liberty must go together
Then only we can usher in peace

India is shadowed by corruption
False promises by politicians with deception
How can we call it as new nation?
When good 60 years have been passed without orientation

Millions still lack basic amenities
The cost of living is adding miseries
Poor suffers most with no means to live
Can anyone sustain it more and believe?

Political will is more important
Politicians must remain present
In their constituencies and devote
More time with people to off set

Not cast or religion should govern
That is main concern
We are easily carried away or misled
The fanatics cause fear and make us living dead
