God Created Hell Poem by Rachel Brewer

God Created Hell

Why are all these bombs going off around me?
What will happen, if there’s no one left standing after they explode?
The destruction made by something so small,
Seems, wrong.

If God is really watching us,
Why is he letting his children tear each other apart?
Why has he given us the means to do it?
Why doesn’t he make it better?

Why are all the triggers being pulled?
People shot down, and destroyed,
Just like that, in a second they’re gone,
And there’s nothing I can do about it.

So if God is really watching us,
Why are we being massacred?
Is this how he has his fun?
Or is he just being incompetent, letting us die?

Why are people annihilating each other’s worlds?
Is this really what God intended for us?
Did he really want this much anger and fear in his world?
People are so full of hate it’s unreal.

I’ll ask you one more time,
Is God really watching us?
Because if he is, he’ll know he’s failed,
He didn’t create a world, he created a hell.
