God, Faith, and Reason:
I sought the meaning of all that is,
Through reason's light, through endless quest,
And glimpsed beyond the veil of time
A Being vast, supremely blessed.
Unbound by form, untouched by space,
The One who spoke and worlds took flight—
A presence cloaked in mercy's grace,
The breath, the pulse of all that's bright.
If reason's hand can trace His name,
Why must the heavens' voice descend?
Why does the Infinite proclaim
What minds alone cannot extend?
For hearts that ache, for souls astray,
He speaks in whispers, signs, and flame—
To show us who He truly is,
And guide us through the dark and shame.
To teach us why we walk this earth,
To show what love and duty mean,
To lift the shroud that hides our worth,
And grant our souls a glimpse unseen.
Yet faith and reason intertwine—
Not foes, but threads of wisdom's weave.
For reason tests the voice of faith,
And faith reveals what reason seeks.
If truth descends from heights untold,
Yet we must climb with reason's might,
Then wisdom's path is both—combined,
A dance of shadow into light.
But woe to those who twist His word,
Or bend the truth to fit their creed!
For God speaks clear—He is but One,
Beyond all bounds, beyond all need.
No son, no partner shares His throne,
No form confines His boundless face—
The Everlasting, One alone,
The Light no mortal eye can trace.
And so, His word must stand as one,
Its truth unbroken, pure, and whole—
Not bound by creed, nor shaped by tongue,
But flowing from the Source of soul.
