God, I Am Yours (A Prayer) Poem by Dr John Celes

God, I am Yours –
My body, mind, spirit and soul;
You made me with Your divine love;
Let me proclaim the same love
To everyone in this world You made;
Let me renounce all that is sinful;
Let me live life as per Your code;
Let me reveal to the world Your great love for humanity;
Let me lead an exemplary life so that others and non-believers
realize the presence of God in everything I do;
Let me suffer if need be for Thine sake
And bear witness of Thine only Son and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Let me bear my cross and walk in His footsteps to Calvary;
Let me show others how special I am in being a Roman Catholic;
Let me change the world and make it a better place for all to live;
Let me tell the atheists that there is a living, loving, longing God,
Who cares for all and wants us all to be back with Him,
In the city of Eternal bliss called Heaven, the Abode of God.
