God Is Faithful And Just

God is faithful and just
to forgive us from our sin
And to cleanse us from all unrighteousness
When we come with a true repentant heart
Our Lord is swift to bless
For sin is the blight of our lives
For it separates us from a loving God
Who has given us a clarification of sin
In the confines of His Word

In my stead Christ was Crucified
All hail Thee precious Lamb
You took the wrath that I deserved
Thou anointed Great I Am
What a name is Jesus Christ
There's Salvation in none other
Doesn't matter where you live
Nor does it matter the color

For blood flows red in substance
The whole world knows that fact
And only the precious blood of Christ
Procures change as an inward act
The Holy Spirit's convicting power
Is the fuller's soap required
And the Word of God applied to a heart
Can remove our sin's attire

I love that my Redeemer lives
Praise God He lives for me
And through the power of His shed blood
His Resurrection became my Surety
He went all the way for my sin
Dying on my behalf
No greater love...no greater love
Can any man ever have...

Praise God for the power in the blood
And only saints can declare it
Sinner's saved by His grace
With a willingness to share it
Come now to that fount of blessing
Come bring your cup and sup
Taste and see that the Lord is good
Then! .. guaranteed you'll lift Him up! ! !
