God Raised Christ
God Raised Christ
God raised Christ Hallelujah
He has raised Him from the dead
And now our hope is eternal
Through Him our living Head
And by God's Holy Spirit
His Word is my Surety
For it shall abide forever
And prove my faith in Thee
God raised Christ Hallelujah
This has become my song
It keeps the joybells ringing
Yes ringing all day long
When in a weakened moment
And discouragement does arise
God raised Christ Hallelujah
And victory again arrives!
God raised Christ Hallelujah
What burden there for prayer
For those who do not know Him
Are destined for despair
What joy found in forgiveness
To have sin's penalty removed
God raised Christ Hallelujah
Praise God we are His beloved!
Hallelujah what a Saviour!
