God's Favourites Poem by Pete Crowther

God's Favourites

Rating: 5.0

J.B.S. Haldane,
though it seemed rather odd,
was asked to explain
what he thought about God.
He pondered some time
but at length he replied:
“Forgive the forced rhyme,
but I’m quite satisfied
that despite all His laws and decretals
God’s got an inordinate
fondness for beetles.”

Hee hee hee! Good one Pete, maybe we're not quite as superior as we like to think. Hugs Anna xxx

I get them occasionally in the house and always help them escape before anyone treads on them. Makes you think though, with that many species around, why we don't see more than we do. Great information and write. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
