Goddess Poem by Uma Pochampalli Goparaju

Goddess

don't weep sweet love
don't weep little dove
you don't worry about
the world in a hurry
to leash out on innocents
and punish the victims
to reason the goons
in white collar and crowns
sleep tonight, away from the
atrocities and horrors
that take your peace in nights
for you are precious as flower
you are prose running the poets
you are to look up for any lover
you are the energy of the river!
