Golden Advice Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Golden Advice

Rating: 5.0

I smile outwardly and put brave front
But internally I cry and go sometimes absent
In mind as well as thought wise
It cuts me into size precisely

I have thought over it often
Consulted many friends over it again
But their advice fall on my deaf ears
As it is made jokingly and I seriously fear

The life as it is told
Must be lived with safe fold
By keeping all humanity standard
And then look up and go forward

But at each step, I encounter
Cheaters, scoundrels and liars
They try to make me fool
I know it but do not allow them to be successful

Why it is like this in day to day life?
Why life has been made to run on edge of knife?
I find no answer as they may say “It is challenge”
You must remain courageous, stand fast and manage

Yes in theoretical part I agree
As they look golden and are given free
One never knows how to lead it?
But in any way it does not fit

I need to lead in any circumstances
I have learned how to draw inferences
Keep them away and find way out
Keep mum and never talk about

This is easy way
No to offend others in any way
It keeps you at safe distance
As they come in your only at once

Advice is something that can be doled out easily as it doesn't cost us anything, though we hardly live up to the advice given! In life, we have to cope up with people and situations, we don't like.... but somehow or other we have to learn to deal with them! A very frank write! !
