Golden Cross Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Golden Cross

Rays of clouds, falling down, raking the skies
around St. Frances Xavier's steeple.

Gray and white, reflecting sorrow, settling peace
within, saving it for the morrow.

A Golden Cross atop the dome, filtering love down
to earth.
