Golden Jubilee Of Neil Armstrong's Moon Mission

'ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND'

Mount Everest was conquered long ago.
To conquer moon was, balm for man's ego.

Man walked on moon? Then, plenty of skeptics;
Armstrong's footprints? 'True', now everyone, ticks.

This date, fifty years back three.brave men *start.
In a long journey-they had set, their hearts.

To land on moon, to collect moon samples
and, back to earth; the.challenge, was ample.

There were many who thought it as a waste;
While scientists planned with care, nothing.in haste.

At the end of the day, a triumph for science;
Now one way.trip.to Mars- everyone pines.
