Marvellous human brain
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
marvel human brain
stores old and new life's events
recalls, with no pain;
great ideas, tools -invents
wheel, bulb..thousands of, patents

much work, by instinct
mind-stored-programs, are handy
precise and succinct
a sense for things fine and, dandy
without it, where would we be?

new rage is AI
will soon play, very big role
for.easier life
if all mind's work -AI's goal
for us, leisure on the whole?

villainous minds too
to plot heinous crimes, murders
such people we boo
they are society's burden
for ethics, they are hurdles

God is a scientist
gave us brain, to live in peace
sad, a flaw exists,
which has caused much peace to cease
bombs, missiles, mines, enough, please

Give busy God, time
he handles whole universe
we are too small, fine?
He, knows how we became worse
hope good man.Mark II, arrives!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Our brain is truly amazing. So many things it does-recalls people, events, places..from 60 years back; does calculations; helps us to most work by instinct; invents; creates; it has even invented AI -which will mostly replace human brain, for most of our work.On the other hand, there are evil minds, who use their considerable mind power for crime.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Poet With No 01 April 2018

The marvellous human brain - Devises ways to kill millions of people and slaughtered tens of millions more in wars throughout the centuries. Oppressed entire races and made them into slaves. The marvellous human brain - Builds missiles with 16 programmable nuclear warheads to destroy every city on the planet. You wrote a splendid poem But I think you have too much faith In something that will soon be extinct.

dear Poet, Thanks for your interesting comment. I agree with you- we are heading towards extinction. I am looking at it in a different way. We are God's experiment. Sometimes experiments go wrong. Some parts don't work as planned. Like our cars develop engine problems. There is some flaw in our wiring. This can only lead us to extinction. After that MarkII man will appear -good in all respects and with no defects. Because our brains are too good to be discarded!

a brain without a heart is a killer reflex- kill or be killed- with a heart- the golden rule. science is a brain without a heart when a scientist builds bombs for a soldier to explode. heart leads, brain follows.

A brain, specially a human brain, is nature's work of art and so is this poem.

much work, by instinct mind-stored-programs, are handy precise and succinct a sense for things fine and, dandy without it, where would we be? The last line in this stanza is one over which I often brood, especially when I see Dementia and Alzheimer's affected people in whom the brain function is very feeble! Without brain, where we would be....? ? Shudder to think of it! A great poem!
