Golden Line Poem by Abdul Wahab

Golden Line

Rating: 5.0

It has two hands
Not like you and me
But oddly different
One clings to seen
And other to unseen
Both has the negative and positive
Ramifications

Excessive indulgence
In unseen
The hand leads you
To the extreme
To be a Sufi or sanyas
And in the reverse gear is
The fanaticism.

Too much indulgence
In the seen
The hand pushes you
To the extreme of materialism
Breeding ground of corruption,
Violence and war

Cling to the both worlds
Seen and unseen
And hang yourself
In great golden line of balance.
