Golden Memories Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Golden Memories

Rating: 2.5

Colors in the rainbow
Violet and indigo
Flowers in the garden
Smiling in the sun...

Clouds in the sky
I wish I could fly
On the wings of my thoughts
To the lands of my dreams...

Towering mountains
Strewn with fountains
Sprawling meadows
With everflowing streams...

Songs of the birds
Waves on the seas
Playing in tune
To the melodies...

Beauty abounds
In every measure
For us to unfold and see...

For ever and ever
I will treasure
These golden memories.

The land of memories is a shelter where we forget our growing age, there we are a naughty youth once again. Feelings of an old man so nicely painted that it touched the heart of another old man.
