Gone Mad Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Gone Mad

Gone mad

We have gone mad
Forgotten motherland
Sending other people to dead end
And conceiving them as friend

We want entry to their land
With disturbed mind
To cause harm to innocent people
And create bitterness among locals

How can we dream peace?
When there is no justice?
Why outsider should be allowed at all?
Let them in their country face the wall!

No we don't want liberalism?
At the cost of humanism
Is this called freedom?
Where you can witness wanton killing

Let there be restriction on movement?
If such liberty is causing worldwide resentment
Then it must be pursued with firm hand
Without its enforcement. It shall invite tragic end
