Gone were the golden days
There was no time to think of different ways
It was kept as struggling all the way
Yet there was hope with shining ray

I was young boy
But still liked to play with toys
The situation were so demanding
That I could not visit ground for playing

I was compelled to think about old parent
I was just thinking how best I can present
How to make them reassured?
With promising features

They always looked at me with hope
I too thought about them non-stop
I prayed God to provide me goodservice
Along with free lodging and boarding promise

God heard my sincere request
To join the military was considered as best
Soon the hardship was on the way
I had joined the service and decided to stay firmly

My first salary was paid
"Oh God" what a blessing, I said
This will make my family very much happy
I thanked once again to almighty

Today I am old age threshold
Nothing needs to be told
I myself pass under same feelings
The joy and unhappiness is all our doings
