Good And Evil Poem by Paul Warren

Good And Evil

Where do you get your moral compass from
Is it from your programming to help you get along
Apart from the instinct to look after ourselves and our children
Is there something else which guides us in the end

Do we have to learn wrong from right
And to feel what for others it's like
To be on the receiving end
In a position where you have to defend

But is the problem for humans to make
That they already know it is wrong in the shake
And do it anyway to devastating effect
So they get what they want what the heck.
