Good Cheer Poem by Paul Warren

Good Cheer

Alcohol doesn't make you feel good
All it does is not make you care
How you really do feel in the end
And drinking alone just seems sad

The mate-ship of sitting with friends
At the same time having a cold one
Is attractive to me in the scheme
So find some mates and good cheer.

Feel good and good cheer are nice words but they have a different meaning for different people- with or without alcohol. Wisely expressed. Thanks.
