Good-Bye Blues Poem by Melvina Germain

Good-Bye Blues

If I were to say good-bye
no one will believe its true
for what you see on the outside
hides an abundance of blue
never judge a book by its cover
you've heard that phrase before
when you visit me at the Chapel
lightly close the door
