I’m grateful Lord that you gave your only son to me.
I’m grateful Lord that I have two eyes in which to see
I’m grateful Lord that I have a loving family
I’m grateful Lord that you love me unconditionally
I’m grateful Lord knowing you are always by my side.
I’m grateful Lord that you taught me to stand with pride
I’m grateful Lord for the wisdom of my years.
I’m grateful Lord that you allow me to shed many tears.
I’m grateful Lord for all the food that you prepare.
I’m grateful Lord for teaching me how to share.
I’m grateful Lord for the warm breeze of the morning sun
I’m grateful Lord for everything that you have done.
Thank you Father in the name of your precious son Jesus

Each line reverberates with the tolling bell of joyous life and, if I might, I should like to add my own gratitude for the act of your sharing this work with us all.
A nice reminder of the remarkable gifts that we so often take for granted... we should all be so grateful. Well done, Melvina! Brian
I'm grateful Lord for letting Melvina enlighten us to what is real
By Lord's grace you have got eyes, good son and lovely family. In all regards you are grateful to God for his grace of wisdom he gives. This is a nice poem of glorifying God and thanking him from tender core of heart. This is excellently penned.10
Being grateful is loving God and thanking Him for all He's done for us on earth. Through our poetry we thank Him for the gifts He has given us to write for Him. Thank you for sharing. RoseAnn
