Good Deed Poem by Ima Ryma

Good Deed

In Moscow on business, I
Was walking back to my hotel,
When suddenly this Russian guy
Approached me, speaking English well.
He said it fell onto the ground,
And held my necklace in his hand.
I had walked on and then he found
The necklace and in gesture grand,
Ran after me to let me know.
I said 'Thank you' in heartfelt way.
I asked his name, he said Hugo.
It certainly did make my day.

The necklace still reminds me of
Hugo's deed from Russia with love.
