'Good Morning' Poem by Ima Ryma

Most often it is morning when
After a sleep I come awake.
And often it is just me then,
And so the first greeting I make
Is to myself in gratitude
That another day I do live
With hopes and dreams to be pursued,
So to me 'Good Morning' I give.
Alone now, but others I'll meet
As I go through my early day,
And with gratitude I will greet,
To all, 'Good Morning' I will say.

When first awake and alone I'll
Say my 'Good Morning' with a smile.
