Good Riddance Poem by Onuora ilodibe

Good Riddance

Here we stand
Far not from where we stood
Pointing fingers
Scapegoats to hang on nooses
Round and round
With all the resources we have on ground
Still Recession bound
With enough blame to go us all round
Barrels of crude
After the reggae then play the blues
Danced to the boom
Oh now we need a clue to save us from doom
The word diversification
Tells how we are so good at Procrastination
Operation feed the nation
And now a new road map to industrialization
War against indiscipline
And now the change begins with you and me
Let's fight corruption
With no food in our belly how can we stride past this Junction!
Without basic amenities
Then revolts and sabotage became necessities
Hunger bore evil
Evil found its root in the people
To exorcize this evils
First we must feed the people to avoid a sequel
