Guardian Angel Poem by Onuora ilodibe

Guardian Angel

Wish he heard your gentle voice
In the doldrum and squall was alone
Wish he stoop and listened hard
Whispering tender rekindling words
To pacify the terribly trembling wretch
Before he kicked and broke the bench

When she's broken crushed and bare
Warm and snuggling shoulder's there
She hoisted her trust in fickle men
And Jolts to vent her sleeping spleen
If though she took sometime to pray
Your comfort in need would she employ

We learn from past to perfect today
So guide our feet to walk his way
When trodden path is dark and gaunt
And road not taken is clung with doubt
Wish would take sometime to think
When Tempests rise above the brinks

When Little children explore the wood
Childish exuberance amount no good
Your presence close bold like silhouette
Keep them from chaos and harm on streets
In prayers they call for a thousand fleet
To watch and guard when they fall asleep

Remove the shrouds for eyes to see
The Celestial battles you wage for me
Clamor and yearn to hear you speak Or show a sign at spurting nick
Wish could have a word with you
Candidly Humbly express my gratitude

Times our hearts is fraught with doubt
For things unseen but chattered about
Your sword and buckler mingled with gold
Luminous wings and garment sparkling snow
Ride to our rescue in chariot of flames.
Annihilate malevolent demons burn in hades
