Goodbye
Farewell, Sufis—those who claim the name,
yet carry hollow words like empty vessels.
Goodbye to tales spun from borrowed threads,
to people who recite stories
I will never care to meet.
You may call me a Sufi—
but I wear no such label.
The true Sufi walks unseen,
perhaps passing by on the road,
marked not by robes or proclamations,
but by the silence that surrounds them,
by their conspicuous absence in the crowd.
Whether you recognize the true one or not,
rest assured, their light is not for show.
Hidden, like the sun behind a thick veil of clouds,
they shine, undisturbed by the world's gaze.
I, too, remain behind this curtain,
waiting for the light within me
to illuminate my own path.
Goodbye
to this chapter of the genuine way.
The scene closes,
and I step beyond the stage,
my final words spoken to those who listen.
Now, I shall dissipate into the winds,
scatter my essence among the clouds,
where time will hold me in its soft embrace.
Do not expect my return—
for the true sayer speaks only once.
Their voice carries across the ages,
then falls silent, absorbed into the eternal.
With unshaken certainty, I proclaim:
There is but one reality,
the singular cause of all causes,
the unbroken whole that binds us all.
Let this truth stand firm,
even as I fade from sight.
