'Goodbye'

They come along looking beautiful and right
And I think, oh I've found my ms right
They all make the same promise
'I love you, I'll never leave you'...

I can see through their lies
Still I believe their lies
Trusting that it may yet become true
After all I've been through...

My heart bleeds still
When I feel the cold steel
Of their words like blade
Cut through my heart...

I thought I should be familiar with goodbye
But each time they say 'goodbye'
It hurts more than the last
And I promise that will be the last...

Yet I find myself falling again
Falling in love is hard
Falling for betrayal is worse
I look at the smile on her cute face...

And I know someday
Just like others before her
she will break her promise and say
GOODBYE
