The hours have managed to drift away
Now it is time to say our good-byes
Your eyes swell and overflow with tears
No need to be sad; soon again we’ll say 'Hi! '

While I am gone I will continue to give hugs
Remember… my love for you remains
Even though our enjoyable day must end...
Your cheerful laughter lingers in my brain

As time passes, I look forward to my next visit
Be happy and enjoy new discoveries each day
Have fun with all your little friends at preschool
Grandma will see you next week…then we’ll play
