Goodbye My Friend - Poem by Bonnie B Long

Goodbye my friend I bid you adieu
Don't know what I'll do without you
I will learn so don't you fret
Will be awhile til my pillows not wet

I miss you already and I'm not even gone
Yes I'm taking away your precious fawn
She'll still be here but not with you
Will you lose motivation what will you do

She's found her inspiration by thinking of you
And almost has lost it what will she do
Distance herself from things that upset her
Before her inner vision becomes a big blur

She knows when she is on a roll
For love has taken quite a toll
To get back to friendship will take a quite a lot
To put things back into perspective be where they ought

She will miss you you know quite a bit
For in her heart you made a big hit
For now she needs to bury you deep in her heart
To say goodbye and to have to part.
