Goodbye-Note Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Goodbye-Note

who'd thought this day would come
when i felt you were really the one
we'd laugh, we'd talk all night
all we do now is fuss and fight
things neither of us imagined we'd do
when the feelings were fresh and new
when things get rough you're quick to run
it really isn't tough but i really just begun
to manage home alone, it became my life
Have you forgotten that you have a wife
when things turn for worse, i keep it a secret
where have daddy gone? the question is frequent
i'm leaving you this precious goodbye-note
So by morning, you'd read what I have wrote
