Goodnight
Too tired for words
Barely keep my eyes open
Yet I need poetry
This piece is very relatable, I haven't been able to get to sleep until 2 am for the past week because of work, and I have had to wake up by 5: 30, yet, despite my weariness I have found myself reading through my favorite poems by Alfred Lord Tennyson before sleep!
