When I am dry and thirsty; yes the desert that I am
Falling friends forsake me yet from clouds come words of heaven
The seed is still within me and His words will water them
poetic words are the safety warter for the thirsty for the knowledge! ~
Some incredibly wonderful imagery! I feel the spiritual connection to this poem, the prayers to the divine will wash over us when our lives are dry. Some great metaphors top stuff!
Always a great read specially this Lenten Season. Timeless!
The beautiful title and the powerful image painted on the title itself lured me to revisit this amazing poem. It invigorates the spirit. I concur with the comments of Bharati.
' The seed is still within me and His words will water them ', a most beautiful line from a wonderful poem. Timeless words that adhere on the tablet of our hearts and in the deep recesses of our minds. Very, very inspiring. To my favorites.
