Grain - Poem by Erica Francis

There's a single grain
of sand
in my shoe

I can't get it out
I pause and kick
but it doesn't come free

So I take off my shoes
and walk to your house
exactly as I wanted to:
naked from the ankles down.

I dig your simple style that leaves me to ponder. (Report)Reply
