Grand Entry Of Summer Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Grand Entry Of Summer

Rating: 5.0

Flowers absorb the early morning sunshine,
A butterfly glides over a fragrant rose,
And here, beneath the azure sky,
The magic spell of Summer grows.

On the heels of a vanishing Spring
is a silent but earnest laud
Audible to those who appreciate
Nature's multiple gifts above the sod.

Afar, upon a distant and deserted beach,
The high tide smashes against the shore
with the elevated stage of roaring water
Bringing forth seashells from the ocean floor.

Sunlight overwhelms the enchanted forest,
and the vast wheatfields are no longer bare.
The grand entry of Summer touches the earth
with astonishing beauty everywhere.

Nature insists that all seasons must change,
So the days will gently and quickly move along.
The presence of Summer will surely display
an assortment of marvels in sight and song.
