Grand Lovers Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Grand Lovers

Rating: 5.0

Basking in autumns delight
Upon a dream I peacefully lay
Sonnets with turning leaves I see
Trying to leave the world at bay

Fortune is the man of beauty
No riches can comprehend elegance
My darling you are the refined moon
We move like a Viennese Dance

The hush of a whisper affects the soul
Time meets grace in falling leaves
Color from the easel of divinity
Words flow like the living sea

Circles of beginnings always resolved
Clouds like sacred forests of light
Sleep my darling neath virtues lamp
Praise shall awake us from the night

Dream of rivers that never end
Mountains of bluebells rule the czars
Warm fires in old stone hearths
Gardens of morning greet the stars

Orchards fade like a quiet coda
Violins reaching for the last sweet notes
Our romance changes into deep roses
We become grand lovers of hope
