There is a place in my heart only they can fill,
a warmth, a spark, a joy renewed
with every little laugh, every tiny hand reaching out.

They are a reminder of all that was good, all that is simple and true.
Their wonder brings the world alive again, small discoveries,
big dreams spilling over.

They move through life with soft steps,
but in their wake, they leave light
and in their eyes, I find something precious,
something whole and unbroken.

They are my second chance to cherish,
to listen, to be present.
Each moment with them, sweet as sunlight, fleeting as a whisper,
leaves an imprint, deep and lasting.

I love them beyond words, beyond time, a love that only grows,
stretching out like roots and wings,
strong, quiet and forever.
