Grande Vista Patio Talk Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Grande Vista Patio Talk

Grande Vista Patio Talk

Warming to the Orlando sun
On the Grande Vista's patio
Tasting the orange craft beer
At seventy-four life's dear

Little Joe's enjoying the green
Totally avoiding sand traps
Adjusting to creativity
I am writing to set myself free

Strangers sitting next to me
Soon become American friends
Exchanging rivalry
For camaraderie

Politics and Kerouac
Being greater than small talk
Americans and Canadians
Thoroughly engaging in good talk
