Grandfather Wind Poem by james watkin

Grandfather Wind

Jumbling extravagent notions
Of propriety, taming
The leering lusts that feed
Beneath such clothing
Was the grandfather of these
Who the ladies accost;
Their unvarying technique
On these ladies not lost;
Who to their indifference
And to my felicity
Have retained not grand-dames'
Fond insecurity.
