Grateful Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Kind people are there in this World,
Who wish to ease the lives of us,
With Illnesses and Disabilities,
Giving and helping without any fuss.

To that kind Donor, I give thanks,
Who gave the Mobility Scooter to JBD,
So I can leave my flat, once more,
Where I have been for Months of three.

I scalded my right foot November last,
And with dressings and bandages on the wound,
I could not walk from out the flat,
This generous Gift has conquered that.

Thanks also to Addam Corre at JBD,
Who has graciously loaned the Scooter to me,
So I can more mobile become,
Until I can walk again ~ like everyone.

For months I've relied on a friend,
To do my laundry once a week,
Now I can do this simple task,
As I can leave my flat with ease.
