Gray Rainbows Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Gray Rainbows

Faces of people changing direction, facing futures without
any plans.

Watching skies for tell-tale hints of other times, sweeping
across blue skies, searching for guidance and love.

Tripping and falling into puddles of humorless desire,
stretching rainbows from colors to grays.

Encompassing all of life's aspects and difficulties, carrying misspent dreams like parachutes and letting them go, watching
them drift apart, out of sight.
