Great-Grandkids Poem by michael Smajda

Great-Grandkids

I have got goldfish in my belly.
And I am as fat as our cow Nellie.
This is what my Great-Grandkids
said to me.
Though I walk slow as a turtle
And every curb to me is a hurdle,
Still all my Great-Grandkids-
they love my company.
Despite my being hard of hearing
And my cataracts aren't disappearing,
There isn't a day that never goes by
When we are all playing together,
It's like we are all praying together.
With such lovely Great-Grandkids,
truly,
How blessed am I?
