Great potential

Beautiful land with great potential
Good and innocent individuals
Natural assets and rich oil fields
Tremendous scope for position to be held

People long for peace
But life is not at ease
The rulers are corrupt
The people are not given choice to opt

Women are not safe
They are killed like autumn leaf
It has everything
But needs some steps for peace to bring

We, the people from different parts
Feel it lacks good start
There is not enough international backing
Enough of fund and aid is lacking

Let country shape its own policy
And eliminate poverty
People have right to live
And strongly believe in norms
