Great Wall Of China: Time Scales Poem by Terence George Craddock

Great Wall Of China: Time Scales

running
across
rugged
mountains
earth dragon
time runs
brown scales
shift yellows

in shining sun
dragon claws
sink power sharp
deep earth grips
worker skeletons
beneath wall buried

histories
longest
grave
stretches
across
horizons
descends
time depths

distances
exquisite
expansive
in scope
time effort
in landscape

ancient
an insightful
brilliance
emanates
in purpose
lectin walls
withstand test
centuries weather past
