Great World Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Great World

The traveller has been travelling since early morning,
He is very weary and thirsty,
At last he stops in front of a holy shrine,
Where the sacred priest gives him a glass of cool water
To quench his thirst.
The tired traveller drinks the water with great pleasure and delight
And finds himself a blithe spirit,
Thereafter the great wayfarer confidently declares,
"Eventually I have reached the most significant sphere,
From where I will definitely rise and rise
And attain the all important world of spirituality."
