Greco-Persia Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Greco-Persia

Greco-Persia

My sister, brother
My friend, my lover
Be Greek and remain

You and I
The Greece-Persia
We have loved
We have lived
Side by side
Wall by wall
We gave life and have killed
And still you exist, we exist

Let's depart
Leave aside
Poison of these days
It's grown in mistake by others
They rewrote history as they want, in their way
They want us, both backward

Ignore them; let us live side by side
Wall to wall like before, now, ever
Siblings and friends; one clan and as kin

I love you; you must know
I have felt you love me
Got drunk in the warmth of the wine of your hugs
Keep smile and see mine

Enter to my bear hugs
Come on in to my yard, to my house and my heart
Do not knock; door's open

Greco-Persia live for long
Let us be united, put aside
Poisons that will kill Socrates
Worthless are the insects in between.
