Greedy Eyes Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Greedy Eyes

Rating: 5.0

The beautiful bird flies from garden to garden
In search of a secure shelter,
Nowhere she finds this,
Every garden is congested with the heinous devils.
Being very nervous and anxious she asks herself,
"Is there no reliable room for me? "
Unexpectedly she sees a bright spot in the farthest corner,
With great delight quickly she flies to that place
And there the wonderful bird truly finds a magnificent garden
Filled with real peace and serenity.
She enters there enthusiastically and feels herself fully relieved,
But it does not last long,
After a while her eyes fall on a little devil in the slightly shabby branch of a tree,
It's the only of its kind though,
The mischievous imp proceeds towards the bird with its greedy and obnoxious eyes,
Being terribly frustrated, the lovely bird curses her tragic fate,
She has nowhere to go then.

" Is there no reliable room for me? " Unexpectedly she sees a bright spot in the farthest corner, With great delight quickly she flies to that place And there the wonderful bird truly finds a magnificent garden..Wanted only peace and serenity but sad at the end. The greedy evil eyes. this is symbolically the struggle of good and evil in our lives....... very good poem with a deep thought. tony
